calling excell guru's please help

Hi all and thanks in advance to who ever canhelp.

I have a excell sheet with thousands of products, but the attributes are in this context

Batteries{9} : None[190], 2 x AA[182](+#0.30)
Flavour{5} : Cherry[1], Strawberry[8], Passion Fruit[11]
Batteries{9} : None[190], 3 x AAA[193](+#0.84)

What formula could i use to delete the the {} brackets and the numbers inbetween so they read.

Batteries : None[190], 2 x AA[182](+#0.30)
Flavour : Cherry[1], Strawberry[8], Passion Fruit[11]
Batteries : None[190], 3 x AAA[193](+#0.84)

Ive tried everything i know and now just want to punch the screen

    to remove the numbers and the brackets you would need a small code written as search and replace would take to long

    you would draw up formula that looked the length of the chars, the found the back bracket an d countrd that in and then reset the length/ in effect removing the part you want removed

    is this

    Batteries{9} : None[190], 2 x AA[182](+#0.30)

    all in one cell ?

    if not supply a sample of what is what cell and i will write a quick forumla to drag that will fix it for you

    ok i want you to create a new work sheet, then in cel A1 / down paste the info you want converted / down the sheet like this

    Batteries{9} : None[190], 2 x AA[182](+#0.30)
    Flavour{5} : Cherry[1], Strawberry[8], Passion Fruit[11]
    Batteries{9} : None[190], 3 x AAA[193](+#0.84)

    then in cell b1 i want you to paste this formula

    =LEFT(A1,FIND("{",A1)-1)&RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND("}",A1))

    once you have done that / drag it down the page for all cells in A

    then highlight those dragged cells and select copy the select paste special

    and your done
