Does anyone know how to split windows in OO Writer?

Hmmm, I am so perplexed on how to do this. Is it even possible? I need to do a rewrite of text into a new document, but I need the original open at the same time. Is there a way to split windows in Open Office Writer? The search function on there is about as good as a chocolate teapot in July, i.e. NONE.

I just open both and adjust the size so that each takes up half the screen.

Me too. I don't know if there is a fancy way, but stretching each window to half your screen works well.

When I am at home and connected to the death-star I use two monitors side by side, and this really speeds things up.
