Favorite Non Human Characters Of All Time

OFF TOPIC

Since we're on the subject of favorite characters, how about a list of
favorite non human characters? More specifically, non flesh and blood
characters. So Spock from Star Trek doesn't qualify because Vulcans
are made of flesh and blood. Animals DO count because they're not
humanoid.

And yes, cartoon characters do count too but maybe we should have
a separate category for them since there are so many.

Yeah, I know...there are some very gray areas here and we can argue
some characters for or against. I quite understand that.

Having said all that...

Here is my top 10.

10. Mr. McTavish

9. Mike Mercury

8. Lore

7. Data

6. Herman Munster (might be a technical stretch...not sure)

5. Robot From Lost In Space

4. Robby The Robot

3. Lassie

2. Alf

1. Cousin It

Whenever there are "top 10 lists" here, I've always heard of precisely two of the top 10 in the OP, but this time was the exception: I've heard of three of yours (Data, Herman Munster and Lassie). In fact, not only have I heard of all three of them, but I bet I could even tell them apart. (Lassie was a dog, right?).
