And that reminded me of a site I've been meaning to post here. After Katrina went through one sad sight were the twisted wrecks of so many of our beautiful oak trees.

Now they are beautiful again in a different way and can be seen all along the Mississippi coast. Check this out - it's pretty amazing. The herons and dolphins are my favorites and so common here.

        And the hopes here are that they can keep the idiots with a six-pack of beer and can of spray paint out of that area!

        Vandalism/tagging those should be considered a felony!

          There has not been any vandalism of the sculptures. I think this is because we all suffered here from Katrina and we went through it together - and even the snarky people recognize these as symbols of survival.
