LOL.. I think is is a spun comment and here is another similar version I am receiving almost everyday.

"I found your website through search engine while searching a related topic, your website show up. You have a fantastic blog that helps many. Great blog... keep up the good work"

... wee, at least I am receiving a better one....

I've had a few of those. Obviously put on there by automated software, where they user has probably spun his comments. This one went horribly wrong.

I've been going through my spam folder and looking for any wrongly placed comments or ones I could at least polish and post. I've had over 57,000 of them so far this month on one of my sites, and tonight I've been whittling away at over 2,000 currently awaiting disposition. Here are some shiners:

"Good day guy, when i love this particular The web page greatly. attain u include bit of advice designed for my very own websites"

"My spouse and i still can not quite assume that I could possibly be one of those reading the important suggestions found on your site. My family and I are seriously thankful for the generosity and for presenting me opportunity pursue our chosen profession path. Thanks for the important information I obtained from your web-site."

      "base72.txt;50;50"

"I have constantly adored your posts on this weblog, how does you will get needed for writing this particular?"

"Thank you for the good writeup. It in fact was a amusement account it. Look advanced to more added agreeable from you! By the way, how could we communicate?"

Indeed, how could we communicate, with such abysmal comments as these? :p

Are clients even checking on the quality of the work of their hired help or their automated software? Apparently not.

What's even more bizarre is how the messages and the pages they are posted on frequently are so inappropriately matched, it's like random chance could do a better job than whatever algorithm is generating the posts! Also, one would think a spambot could at least match the username with the email address, so it's not so painfully obvious that all the information in all the form fields is COMPLETELY arbitrary.

But the kind that really puzzle me are the all-consonant spams, like this:
      "SAgxfx mfgtcyyhegkj, bwjnmtzxsugy, [link:http://lugporniexal.com/]lugporniexal, http://zqndwbaqyjbc.com/"

Seriously. What kind of crap is that??? Talk about UGLY. Yikes! Even the username, email address and website fields are full of this consonant gibberish. And they really think Akismet would EVER let that through? It's bad enough all the other weird messages, but those consonants. I wonder what the sales pitch sounds like that sells users on buying software that churns out total alphabetic vomit.

I like comments. Comments help build community and show that a website is alive. I'd be willing to allow these automated backlink-grabbing comments to remain if the comments and usernames associated with them were believable and appropriate for the topic of the post. Maybe none of the auto-post proggies are capable of that kind of discernment, but you'd think if the bots are smart enough to bust through a captcha, they'd be smart enough NOT to post a yeast infection comment on a music review!

HAHAHAHA nice man, that actually made me laugh pretty hard. We open up comments here in the office every day after lunch and read some of them aloud, then try to figure out what the original sentence actually was. We've gotten pretty good at reverse engineering @#$% comments. Now if there was only a WSO in that somewhere.....

That is a very nice way of spamming. I see that a lot. People just want to get their link up on a site like this blog and not even post something useful or something that make sense.

    This is weird.

I think the worst part is when someone "thinks" they "know" English and posts something that takes 5 minutes to read despite only being 2 lines. I get annoyed after awhile reading some of this nonsense. . . What I then wonder is if they have a hard time reading something like this post seeing as their grammar is completely messed up. I guess that is what I sound like when trying to speak Spanish sometimes. I guess it's all relative. Basically, don't spam.
