I heard about that. 97 is a respectable age though.

Steel Guitar Legend Ralph Mooney just died too.

He must be one of the greatest musician in the early 50's. 97 is truly a respectable age.

Man, when I hear Pine Top Perkins, I am reminded what an orgasmic place this planet could be.

In the words of Bob Marley: "Most people think,
Great god will come from the skies,
    Take away everything
    And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. jah!

Great piano player. I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I have one cassette tape of his that I used to play over and over again. And one of Art Tatum

I have a passion for the piano but Pinetops' is/was definately one hundred fold. Sounds like he lived a full life. Thank You Mr. Perkins. Great Job. Your Work Is Done!
