Tornado in Joplin

Hey guys,

I live in Joplin, MO and the city was about 30% destroyed by a tornado yesterday, and 90 people are confirmed dead so far. Sadly, one of my coworkers and his wife are among them. Fortunately for me my family made it through safe.

    The videos I saw in Youtube are insane, really powerful tornado, smashing everything on it's way.

    I saw a post on this yesterday. It didn't tell that there were fatalities. I feel terrible about it. So glad you are here to tell us about it and that you are okay. My condolences to those who are suffering losses.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone. It has been rough and will continue to be so for a while.

    One of my friends went to salvage some stuff from their home and there were looters trying to find stuff. Pretty disgusting.

      Unfortunately this happens in all disasters. When there was the London Blitz during WW11 burglary rose.

      However that is the minority of people and as you know those material things are important but not that important.

      You will find the true spirit of man come to the fore.

      I am sure you will be displaying that side to your neighbours.

        Without a doubt people are being very giving. The Community Blood Bank has stopped taking donations for now since they are full. Good things are happening thanks to people all over the world.
