There are quite a few...Over the Hedge, The Lion King, Cars...sometimes the production value is way better on some of the 'kids' movies.

I liked Shrek, Madagascar I and II, and these are only the ones I happen to remember at the moment.

There was another about a little post apocalyptic flying robot, but I can't remember the name of it.

I would say "Final Fantasy: Advent Children". That animation was superbly created as the eyes of the character was marvellously designed as if I was looking at the actual eyes of a person. It was totally awesome and the cinematic creativity was very good. It is hard to distinguish the anime from an actual person since it captures the very details of a live movie. Strands of hair, sweat, blood and even the lines at the faces of the characters were all there. The details were superbly done and even the background was magnificently created. I would say, this is so-far my favourite animation movie, not only as it was based from the video game, but also it has a wonderful storyline and the Japanese philosophy all together.

  I love the Shrek films and the Ice Age ones. Ponyo is great too. A few years ago my daughter watched Finding Nemo dozens of times and I never got bored of it. To be honest, I just generally like animations and cartoons

  Avatar is my favourite also. I saw these movie last weak only with my family. I like the movie very much because of its graphics and action. It was a movie that almost changed the world of cinema. The movie uses a technology that gave the most realistic character animation and makes use of a very advanced 3D animation.

This might actually be closer to a cartoon. A show about a dog that played an Action Hero call BOLT was on the TV a few weeks back. I ended up watching the whole thing. It was the funniest thing I have seen in a while.
