Hey this year I am doing a web development course - thats coding not design

Here is one of my projects hand coded

Goldway Hotels - Home

Its got the Microsoft translator which is pretty nifty - the Google one got deprecated last month

So final faults with this are mostly related to the scripts not validating - I will try move them all to external files and get everything validating tonight.

Its just a demo site - none of the forms work

This is my final basic clientside site using XHTML CSS & javascript, next I do 3 months of PHP, then 4 months of jquery sql and advanced mashups.

    Pretty neat Gareth.
I know IE used to give me fits when I was validating code.
If the code was up to w3 standards the page would break in IE unless you add IE hacks.
Right pain in the ass it was.

      It's about time
Do you still have to consider earlier versions of IE though?
That was a problem for me and one of the things that caused me to loose interest in coding. Keep in mind I only learned XHTML and CSS. I started learning PHP but I was learning on my own and really needed someone to help me. I do wish I was learning in school instead, if I was I would still be doing it. Sometimes you really need a more experienced person to guide you along.
