OFF TOPIC

- How much power Google has.

- Long video sales letters. I've noticed some have removed any indication of how long they are, probably because they know I would immediately hit the back button when I see their running time exceeds my bladder capacity.

- Endless popups after I hit the back button. It wasn't a mistake I hit the back button and now I'm really peeved and more unlikely to buy.

- Already being on an email list, and having to subscribe to another list just to read anything.

- Searching for something and wondering, why is this website of obvious scraped, unintelligible, virus serving crap even indexed? A search shows 1,340,000,000 results. All I care about is 5 good ones.

- Adwords emails telling me that 6 years after an ad stopped running it suddenly is disapproved.

- Less than 100% conversion rates. Seriously, do I need to come over there and throttle you until you get it through your thick skull how valuable my stuff is?

- Merchants on affiliate networks who deactivate several times a year and I'm expected to immediately swap out and in all my links at their whimsy.

- The US extraditing people worldwide for criminal prosecution because, in their country, they LINKED to websites hosting copyright violations of American companies. Imagine if China demanded extradition of US citizens for actually writing content that did not please their government.

I have a friend who says "98% of lawyers give the other 2% a bad name."

She is, of course, a practicing attorney.

Isn't that usually the case. 80% are too slow on the upswing to realize that we are the best thing since sliced bread? :p

I think they do it to weed out those who don't update their sites daily, making it possible for them to skip paying commissions to "auto-pilot riches" seekers who actually generate sales for them.

That one is particularly annoying to me. I usually drop the merchant like a hot potato. There is way too much stuff to promote to have to dink around with the off-again on-again merry-go-round some merchants try to make you ride.

Here's another one I don't like...

SEO companies that spam you to drum up business. If they were any good they wouldn't need to spam people to gain business, they'd have all the business they need from organic traffic and word of mouth referrals.

Side Note: If all the people who buy things via spam would just stop, so would most of the spam.

LMAO - I LOVE these idiots. They find my site because I'm on page 1 on google for umpteen keywords, then write to me about "helping my SEO". Um...DUH...my SEO is how YOU found me you twit. How are you going to beat google #1? I never hear from the same people twice after I write back and laugh at them. It's bad when you have to point out that they need to get their clients from the BACK pages of google, not the front page.

I don't like 150 meg downloads of bloated videos that take 3 hours to watch, when a 3 meg pdf I can read in 15 minutes will give me the same info.
