Help Young People Become Entrepreneurs
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about an exciting website, geared toward young people. A very nice Man that I grew up with by the name of Tim Rhode, and happens to be a successful retired entrepreneur, has created and put a website online with a mission to motivate and teach young people to start on the road to success and self sufficiency through hard work, developing their talents, setting goals, so that perhaps these kids will have a chance to live a productive and abundant life based on their own efforts.
In these economic times, kids don't have the hope and confidence in the future, that we older people had. The small town of less than 2,000 people that Tim and I grew up in, in Calif, high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, was a tiny town that was prosperous for the most part. Our two main industries were the railroad, and logging. Both of these industries no longer exist there, and the county has a 26% unemployment rate.
I am sure this little town and the county it's in, is probably representative of many places across the United States, right now. Growing up in this little town, was really a big family experience, and there are many of us who still live there and many of us who now live elsewhere, who still consider this little town home. We are all just sick of the dire straits our little home town is in, because instead of thriving businesses that once were there, now a great many of the people are depending on Gov't handouts. How depressing!!
In the spirit of entrepreneurship and the idea that if you can dream it, and are willing to put in the hard work to make your ideas and dreams a reality, I want to give you the URL to this website, because this is a program he would like to see implemented where ever we would like to see young people succeed and prosper, and have hope and confidence in the future.
