Help Young People Become Entrepreneurs

Hello fellow Warriors,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about an exciting website, geared toward young people. A very nice Man that I grew up with by the name of Tim Rhode, and happens to be a successful retired entrepreneur, has created and put a website online with a mission to motivate and teach young people to start on the road to success and self sufficiency through hard work, developing their talents, setting goals, so that perhaps these kids will have a chance to live a productive and abundant life based on their own efforts.

In these economic times, kids don't have the hope and confidence in the future, that we older people had. The small town of less than 2,000 people that Tim and I grew up in, in Calif, high up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, was a tiny town that was prosperous for the most part. Our two main industries were the railroad, and logging. Both of these industries no longer exist there, and the county has a 26% unemployment rate.

I am sure this little town and the county it's in, is probably representative of many places across the United States, right now. Growing up in this little town, was really a big family experience, and there are many of us who still live there and many of us who now live elsewhere, who still consider this little town home. We are all just sick of the dire straits our little home town is in, because instead of thriving businesses that once were there, now a great many of the people are depending on Gov't handouts. How depressing!!

In the spirit of entrepreneurship and the idea that if you can dream it, and are willing to put in the hard work to make your ideas and dreams a reality, I want to give you the URL to this website, because this is a program he would like to see implemented where ever we would like to see young people succeed and prosper, and have hope and confidence in the future.

I see the site, but all I see is Tony Robbins type "positive attitude" and "the secret" type stuff, that has its place, but people need to put their HANDS on something, that is what entrepreneurs is all about.

Granted , I only quickly looked at the site, which seems to use "networking" type stuff, which again, is great, but thats at a later point in the entrepreneurs development, what an entrepreneur needs NOW is a proven , clear path to create ANY income, first, with "some" of that philosophy, maybe, but the main philosophy is creating a real business that LAST, along with masterminding and networking.

Truth is, despite all the platitude of speeches from prominent, well to do people, the ONLY thing they like about entrepreneurs is to STEAL their ideas, innovation, then put them OUT OF BUSINESS, I'm talking about "the big boys" of industry and the "wanna be, almost close to being " big boys.

It is not taught AT ALL in the majority of any of the disciplines and what little, misinformation they spew out, it is major wrong and misleading.

They DO NOT want to share in the wealth, just look at the monopolies TODAY and the bank of legal bribes they give to "our leaders" to enforce and stave off legitimate, honest competition.

Like a pit bull with lock jaw, they don't want to open up. There's no such thing as "enough", it's either total economic dictatorship or its a loss...,like, if they have 99.99% of the business, that 1% is considered a "loss", they claim unprofitability.

They love talking up the platitudes about "individualism" and "innovators", but laws and actions simply don't measure up or match at all.

Since its A FACT small business owners and entrepreneurs create most and the majority of jobs, open up new industries, the bulk of the "big boys" tax break should go to the small businessman.

At a certain point, when a small business gets going and is "growing up" with momentum, he don't need "the breaks" that should be given to businesses smaller than him.

Once a kid / business is "grown" and can fend for himself, he don't need to be bottle-fed or his milk warmed up anymore, save that for the up and coming small business, micro business, entrepreneurs who have growth spouts like a teenager, too fast for his mind to catch up with his body , like wise , growing too fast for the limited finances/employees to handle to match demand and growth.

That website you talk about should be over HERE, if they want a real taste, philosophy and tools in real-world dojo sessions to get going in that path of entrepreneurship in the sincerest fashion.

As an example about the misinformation, pick up a Small Business Administration handbook or go to a business school and see what they tell you what it takes to be in business.

That "trap" of information and curriculum..., DEFINITELY NOT designed by entrepreneurs and DEFINITELY designed by "the powers that be"......, they don't want nor believe everyone should have the opportunity to be as much as they can, despite the false platitude of speeches to "the sheeple".

I guarantee you, if folks actually believed the curriculum laid out by the institutions and powers that be of the "traditional" path of being a business owner, there would be no Warrior Forum.

      Hi 13th Warrior,

I don't study Tony Robbins, but what I do know is my friend Tim
mentioned in my post, and the website I posted, is actively involved
in helping young people get started in realizing their dreams, through
entrepreneurship. He will give seminars free of charge to Church,
business, and other groups to share his vision and thoughts on self reliance, not only live but will do online seminars, so that anyone who is interested in his ideas, can hear what he is doing with his new organization. I hope this further clarifies my remarks from my
      first post.
