    The one thing I have noticed with conversions in Warrior Forum is that sometimes people tend to overuse them and that the non-icon threads seem to stick out.

    I actually think it's crazy how everyone in the WSO thread bolds their text, because I have personally instantly been attracted to the nonbolds as they aren't so aggressive.

    Don't know if you realize it or not, but if someone hasn't read your thread yet or if there are new posts since they did, your arrow actually points to the "go to first new post" icon rather than the icon you chose to represent your thread.

    Personally, I don't pay any attention at all to the icons people choose, if any. I read the title and poster, and if either interest me I'll rest my cursor on the link for a preview of the thread. If that interests me I'll click the link, if not, I move on.

    I think it might increase the response rate a bit, but not that much . To be honest, I was attracted by the "Secret of... " text haha.
