When Will You Stop?

What ever income you would feel comfortable to live, that is that number you will be striving for.

When everything works for you on auto-pilot and still making you great income, that will be the day that you can take it easy. But I don't recommend that you take a few weeks off. Check everything everyday. This should take you from 30 to 60 minutes.

i too currently make decent money online. i am still working to get it up to the higher 5 figures monthly, but that will come with work.

my goal is to be able to afford to do some positive things in regards to education. i feel it is the biggest area of opportunity in society today.

i also feel that the solutions to the problems are being driven by money, and money doesn't solve much of anything. heck, money will only solve being poor temporarily.

but an education can help you make it through anything.

my goal is to be able to invest 10k per month from my internet business into solving issues that plague our USA education system.

i want to focus on opening discussion and testing some innovative ideas rather than just throwing more money at the problem. that has not worked very well.

anyway. i am 31 now, hopefully by 33 i will be in a position to work on education full time. thats how i plan to spend my next 30 years.

I will stop when i think that i have enough money in the bank to support me and my family for the rest of our life. (which i think is 2 million for me and my family). After that i may be earning passive income of which large part (80%+) will go towards donation.

I strive to make enough money that I can build a foundation for people who have been abused. i want them to have a safe place they can heal, where they can learn how to handle life in a different way than they learned growing up. In essence I want to make the world a better place for them and all the generations that follow them.
I figure the more money I make that more people i can help.

I don't ever plan on stopping.

It's a time and money issue. Personally, I would probably do this stuff for a hobby, even if I never made a cent. I love IM! I'll do this as long as I can. Or do something "funner", if I ever find it.

I'll rest when I'm dead. Internet Marketing is an addiction, you're addicted to the money, when you go from zero figures, to 3 figures, to 4 figures a month, you just want to push yourself to make even more money. I mean why not? you can do whatever you put your mind too. I find I discuss a lot of ideas with other marketers, who say they are Impossible to do. And it's funny that those ideas have made me the most money.

My external goals would be to be able to stay at home with my family, have more free time, and would save up most of the money to invest.

This a great question. The reason why I want to make so much money was to help out my family and people who are less fortunate than me. I keep seeing all of these commercials about beaten children and starving kids who don't have a good home to go to and I'd love to donate to them so they could have a better life. Also, I currently donate to a charity which helps kids who are hopping from house to house sleeping on couches. I donate $15 a month but would prefer to really start helping out in my neighborhood since there are a lot of problems. So yeah that's why I want more money-- to help people. About 5,6, or 7 figures a month wouldn't be bad at all =)

Stopping is not in my vocabulary.
Besides, I love internet marketing and it keeps me going each day.

I'm addicted to the experience - the process - the
learning curve.

I know now that I grow as a person and face many
fears in business - and when I do that successfully
I succeed financially.

Business is a measure of how many people I serve,
and to what degree I serve them.

...I think most of us get a kick out of helping people
and getting rewarded for it. So, in a sense...

very, VERY few people quit being an entrepreneur
when income goals are reached - they simply expand
their business to serve more people or forget about
making money altogether...

but few ever stop cold-turkey.

I will never stop. I may decide to use less time on it, if I have reached a certain financial level where I don't need to make more money.

Obviously most of us decided to begin in IM because we wanted to make money, but as I have progressed I know that money is not everything. Something I have realized is that personal development is a very important thing for me. I need to grow as a person and my business is a part of that. Whenever I reach my financial goal, I could focus on helping even more people. Maybe learn new skills. Just look at something like Frank Kern. Although he has "retired" he can't help to pop up here and there.

For me, as long as I am still alive, I will never stop.

Even the richest people out there never think of stopping.

I am seriously considering stepping down. I am bored

I have a stable income, and now i have a trusted manager who understands the business. I recently diversified and have a 24/7 computer operation which is now on automatic too

I am seriously looking at elevating him to 49% partner and sit back and count the money.

I could easily expand my subscription base five times, without affiliates, but can not be bothered. I am also autoresponder, webpage free, but do use paypal. I do not know what a business plan is

The only treason i continue is a loyalty to my subscribers.

I have time to think. My core business only runs five months a year, a couple of hours a day, but I do need to work every day, but i live well.

When i return from a couple of months sailing i will decide to expand or bow out. The latter sounds good

Life really is a beach

i think it depends on you if you can work on it without interfering with your life in a bad way then why not go for more?

I love my job and even if I will have enough moeny I won't stop doing it.
