I received this as a fax this morning...lol

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...And those
who don't and are always seen with a bottle of water in
their hand.

As Ben Franklin said, "In wine there is wisdom, In beer
there is freedom, in water there is bacteria."

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists
have demonstraighted that if we drink 1 liter of water each
day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed
more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (e.Coli) bacteria
found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.
However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine
& beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
because alcohol has to go through a purification
process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
*Water = Poop
*Wine = Health
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
than to drink water and be full of $hit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable
information: I'm doing it as a public service.

Have a Great Day!
Michael

Love it, Michael, thanks for sharing. I love a nice Merlot, knew there was a reason I counted it as one of the five food groups.

    Just for you, Michael...

(The song starts at about 1:14 in. Apparently the option to start a song at a certain place doesn't work on the forum.)

Dennis, That was an interesting find...? Thanks, I've never
heard (<-Is that the right spelling???) that before!

Oh, actually, If you press play, wait a second and then press pause, you can go
read another thread while the video loads. After that you can come back and start
it where ever you want to.

    Have a Great Day!

Michael, the song is from 1967. It was pretty popular where I lived, but I don't know if it was a big national hit. I think they broke up around 1969 but they put out a lot of records before that.

PS - Yes, that was the right spelling.
