I'm a drummer myself... I've held onto a sweet 3pc Gretsch set from the 50's with Zildjian cymbals hand made & signed by the creators straight from Turkey.

You just can't find new gear with that type of quality craftsmanship.

Don't sell it !! (Unless you absolutely have to).

I had a custom made 13 piece Pearl kit which I sold over 10 years ago, and to this day still regret that decision.

On the positive side, now enjoying my Roland TD8 kit ... amd thinking of upgrading to a TD20 very soon

I've played guitar for about 12 years now. Don't practice as much as I used to. Need to get a new acoustic soon....hopefully some of my campaign will heat up and I can treat myself heheh

I play guitar and sing. I was in an alternative rock band called Now Transmission for about 4 years.

Howdy. Flute, Bass Warwick Streamer 5-string fretless, Ibanez 5-str fretted (shush, pretty nice actually!), Acoustic Nylon-strings Guitar, and Synth Keyboard. Also bass/baritone in chamber choir and director for mixed and male choirs. Best bets to give me a hard-on: JSBach (Jacques Loussier Trio), Bizet (PearlFisher), Eric Satie, Kitaro, Vivaldi, Copland, Libera ... and so many more. True highs that don't crap out your memory like pot.

yollyp, you'd better not try to play your electric guitar as you sing in the shower!

hey, now you've gone and given me an idea for a new product to offer to musicians - a waterproof guitar...this would allow more people like you to make efficient practice and shower time.

...and I thought the solution was to just stop taking showers like I've heard Indie Rockers do.
