Browsing Facebook with https instead of http
Well, I found an article, snopes.com: http vs. https and essentially it talks about the difference between http and https, but there was a little tip in there that really surprised me. By default your facebook account settings are set to browse facebook unsecured (http) but you can actually change that setting in your profile to browse secured instead (https).
If you go to facebook and look in your browser, chances are it says http:// instead of https:// which essentially means you're not browsing the site in a secure session. But you can actually change that in your account.
Go to (from the top right corner usually), Account > Account Settings > Account Security > Secure Browsing and set that to enabled.
After you do that, you should notice that you're now browsing facebook with a secured connection https://
Just figured I'd share that, probably will help keep your account safer from the bad guys
I wonder why they don't utilize the https connection by default?
