Ads that stand out

The most memorable ad I've ever seen was on a billboard. The photo was of an attractive bottle of dish detergent. The text read 'It's rich, good looking, and it does the dishes.' It was about 25 years ago and I still enjoy that bit of humor.

And in SoCal, Trader Joe's has a couple of cute, old fashioned kids on the back of their paper grocery bags. One is asking the other 'Is framing the bag and hanging it on the wall reusing, or recycling?' Good one, probably from the guy who did the graphics work.

And just when I was thinking of typing this up, I noticed something on a container of sour cream. '<Brand Name> is made with 100% natural ingredients, without added hormones or preservatives.' That one isn't funny at all. I'd be shocked if sour cream ever was made with hormones, but it might be effective (against?) the people who just have a vague memory that hormones are really bad. It does not say anything about the cows not being given hormones.
