A simple newbie question

Hello!

This is my first post on this forum and I have a few battering thoughts in my . mind. So I figured why not ask!

First I want to clarify:

English is not my native language please ignore any mistakes in the following post!
I am a newbie in any Internet way of making money(Besides selling on eBay). Still I have heard and read on some of the methodology on it. So If anyone even bothers to answer any of my questions I would prefer if you give me a more specific answer rather than just answering in general (I do not demand that anyone reveals their know-how experience and knowledge).

I don't want you to consider my questions as arrogant It's just something I have been wondering!

So onto it then!

I see many people making guides (e-books) on how they made XXX XXX$ in about an year or how to make a few hundred $ a day without having this and that (generally convincing you that you need almost nothing to do it) and claiming to give you a step-by-step on how to do it yourself...

I was wondering! Why would anyone tell me this if they have a (obviously) proven and great strategy on doing it?
If they tell me how they pick their niches.. How to promote the product.. How they find a great way to target the specific customer in need of the product.. why would those people ever share this? And even for a couple of (most of the time for less than a hundred(Sometimes even less than 10!)) dollars?

Why would anyone give the experience and the know-how on how to make a few hundred thousand dollars a year ONLINE for pocket change such as 10$ (even if 1000+ people get his book (which would mean A LOT competition even if 10% of them decided to get serious on the topic) that wouldn't make much of a difference in their profits)

It all leads me to the conclusion that people just write 'guides' such as :
"Hey you need a website with ads to make money online"
"Why not promote a product using facebook/twitted/youtube/insert whatever"
"Go click on (Insert PTC site) and you will make thousands easily!"
"Upload files online and share them!!!"
"a mixture of all of the above"
of course a bit more in depth I suppose.. but nothing specific
and in a bad 'catchy' way (which I find disturbing most of the time I land on such a page and close immediately)

And after that I just think people simply don't tell the whole story of their success online... why would you write such a 'guide' if you really succeeded online? Maybe to get those 10$ because that would be it?

    You seem to have formed a rather negative attitude about this great forum, in record time I might add.

    I doubt that anything anyone has to say will change that.

    Take the time to go through the forum and get to know people. That will give you the answers you are seeking.

      I belong to an international network of business people, about a third are total newbies, a third in business and doing ok but want to do better and a third who have really made it and help others for free.

      This network includes some of the most famous and influential people of our day and yes, some times they just give away very valuable information.

      There are many free things that are very valuable and many that are not.

      Once you have been on this forum for a while and have more experience you will see who gives you value and who doesn't.

      I generally tell new people to join the War Room for a one time lifetime fee and get access to a ton of really great free stuff, but you might not think it is worth it.

      Anyway, read a lot here. Since you are a newbie, search for the word newbie to get lots of helpful advice on how to get started.

    I know just how you feel Amigo but it will take trial and error I guess. There will alsways be those 'sucking the blood' out of the fresh meat that comes along as that is nature! But yes it is frustrating with whom to trust with all the claims but this place is supposed to be a 'fair go' and if you can't find help here...then god help us my friend.

    Hello Wintersun1234; you have to trust your instincts, if something on the Net seems genuine and interests you, try it. If something seems fishy, pass it up. Freebies are often given away to build leads lists so by accepting, you are asked to complete a sign-up form. Usually a fair exchange, a freebie for your name and email address.

      Why is the selling of information, by an Internet Entrepreneur, in the form of an eBook any different?

    from what i found on your reading,

    all you need to do is ( based on my experience) :

    find one tips or WSO that you find interesting and have a high probability to be success( you do did by reading the review by other people who buy that wso, so, wait a few days/ weeks before buy that wso to get the clear picture , then buy it)
    be persistent, follow what being laid down in that wso..

    repeat, rinse, repeat , rinse...
    i think that enough to be success... if you believe in yourself..
