Hi

My name is Katie, I'm 19, a sophomore in college, business/accounting major.

I've lurked this forum here and there for a little while, but I've been busy with school during season (i play soccer for my university).but now thats done so ive been putting in some more time online to try and make money.

I would classify myself as a beginner, Ive made a few hundred bucks with leadbolt and some other websites but its not exactly stable. Short term I would just like some extra money to spend during the school year since I only work my job in the summer when I'm home. But long term I would like to be able to graduate with a solid flow of income so I can live on my own and be financially stable to support myself.

    I started at the beginning of my sophomore year, and did that: it can certainly be done. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

    I don't know what "Leadbolt" is ... what sort of internet marketing business are you planning to set up (if you know yet)?

    Leadbolt is just the name of a content locking website.

    As for what type of business, I honestly have no clue. Getting to read this forum, I've seen thats there are so many different ways people generate income here, I think I probably just have to do some more reading/research/testing until I find the right fit

    as for skills. Ive been using photoshop as a hobby since middle school, so I'd I know my way around it. I also know illustrator pretty well, but haven't been using it as long.

    I also know html/css a bit. I could probably code a small website.

    I've never really enjoyed article writing that much, I mean, I made small blogs to use with leadbolt to make some profit there, but not really anything I could use for a permanent income.

    Photoshop is a good skill. You could work for yourself, creating a wordpress site, add your own logo and graphics. Wordpress is easy to use and you can teach yourself. No html or css experience necessary with the basic site. You can check into some clickbank products, start a site, and put together a marketing plan. Many people here have experience in affiliate marketing - clickbank products, etc. Find someone who has experience doing what you choose to do and read their posts/threads.

    thank you for the advice clickbank is surely something ive tried, and failed at, but looking at what people here to compared to my weak little try at it, there are certainly many more options for me to try out, which its definitely something I will be testing out
