BBC News - Woman 'escaped after being tied up and buried in box'

Bring back the lynch

It's incredible what some people will do to fellow human beings.

"The court heard that 25-year-old Mr Kasprzak told his partner that she was not as good-looking as the girls he saw at the gym. Jurors heard he would go out with friends, sometimes staying out all night, rather than spending time with her."

He sounds like such a gentlemen. I'm normally against the death penalty, but I can certainly make some exceptions.

      Wrong country unfortunately.

They will probably get a nice cell for a few years.

As will whoever did the following.

There are some seriously sick people walking around.

Reminds me of stuff that got discussed in school earlier today about... well, just about everything. 2 of my classes were back-to-back 'persuasion essays'.

It got me thinking: why are prisons so 'kind' to people? I'm not sure how it all works, but sometimes it seems like everybody is concerned with saving everybody from everyself (that is so not a word!) to the point where nobody is saving anybody from anything! Or something like that?

They can get the death penalty indirectly if put in with the general prison mate population, but the UK doesn't have the death penalty. I don't even think they'd get the death penalty in the US for that, though of course they deserve it, but only after receiving painful and debilitating torture first.

Definitely too sick to be allowed to live. Too many people for us to support creatures this screwed up. Lethal injection. Absolutely.

Absolutely, she deserves to have the best life after that horrible ordeal. I hope they both get what's coming to them, very sick and twisted people.

  • About time to pull the Tower of London out of tourist trap status...(since London Bridge is not available)

and start using parts of it for their initial intended purpose again.

(heads on pikes make for a nice deterrent)

The traitors were ritually hanged (almost to the point of death), emasculated, disembowelled, beheaded and quartered (chopped into four pieces). As a warning against further dissent, these remains were often displayed at prominent places, such as London Bridge. For reasons of public decency, women convicted of high treason were burnt at the stake.

That part cracks me up...wouldn't want to do anything indecent now...

This is the first thing I thought about, and it's the most important issue. I hope she can lead a "normal", peaceful life and not have to live in fear.

Too many people think first about revenge and punishement instead of the well-being of the victim.

I wonder why they put two holes in the box to allow air in?

      ^ My thoughts too.

If it's going to be close enough to the surface for the holes then I'm doubting the intention was to kill her since she could break her way out of the box - which she did.

What were their intentions? Thankfully most criminally minded people aren't too brilliant.

would have air holes, a computer box?? (how big was that computer?) and a hap-hazard shallow burial to boot...either these chaps are Dumb and Dumber, or there may be more to this they aren't telling?

I'm guessing that neither one (thankfully) had the courage to be the one responsible for her death, so they were probably hoping that she'd be stuck there and die on her own.

Personally I think I'd rather be dead than burried alive in a box. I can't even stand the thought of it.
