Duplicate Content Analyzers

I have had a problem with my site doing the Google Dance and have gone from No. 1 for my keyword, back to 1,200, back to No. 3, back to position 132 etc. etc.

I had a professional look at my site and he tells me that some of my posts and articles are showing as duplicate content.

My question is, when I write an article for my site, how can I insure that it won't be stolen by other sites, who then claim it to be theirs?.

My second question, is there a duplicate content analyzer that I can run over my content to ensure it's OK? Free would be nice, but I'm realistic, but would just like your ideas. Thanks

Dupe Free Pro is another option. I don't think they offer a free version anymore, but the price is pretty low for what it does.
