Wow, this guy got the maximum:

RENO, Nev. (AP) — A Montana man convicted of running an investment scam on the Internet was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years in federal prison and ordered to pay $13.2 million in restitution to more than 1,400 investors.
U.S. District Judge Larry Hicks in Reno told Rick Young, 52, of Lewistown, that the fraud carried out by his Nevada-based Global One Group from 2006 to 2007 was "incredibly repulsive."

All those people who lost their money know HARSH.
    Yeah that is harsh.

No matter how much time he does they will be lucky to get a penny on the dollar.

The entire paper tiger will be sucked dry by courts and legal mumbo jumbo.

This means a penny on the dollar is the most you might hope to get. IF THAT.

FIND THE MONEY. I guess they do some of that, but too bad it is not a WORLD BANK POLICE FORCE that will confiscate everything.

I guess they do that too but you have those OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS called haven. TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN. The Tax Evaders and Other Crooks always out of jurisdiction somewhere i guess,
    with their ill gotten gains.

.. my point is the victims will never see a bit of restitution.

only cheap revenge - so big deal he is doing time.
I hope it is a hard time. Bubbah!

25 years isn't harsh for HIM - we're the ones that have to support the scum butt during that time so he's still getting away with draining finances. Remember in China a few years back when they executed a guy for a financial fraud of that size?

As far as I am concerned, they should just toss him in a room with everyone he scammed and let them decide if he gets out alive or not.
