One Year To Live ?

Ah so its been posponed again ? Well i guess ill have to worry for the 100th time that the world will be ending in 2012. It shows i am a survivor though, not many people can say they cheated the end of the world 100 times in their life time (well appart from the 6 billion who live on this earth)

It hasn't been postponed! The mayans were supposedly perfect and complete and ALWAYS covered EVERYTHING! Their calendar ended at 12/21/2012, so the theory is that that is the end of the planet. Of course, coincidently, that is ALSO supposed to be when the cycle ends! The mayan descendents say that they merely haven't issued the next cycle's calendar yet.

I had credit cards that said they were good EVEN after the COMPANY went BANKRUPT! HECK, I just found a debt card issued in 2008 from WAMU, and I have a letter dated 1/14/2008. Didn't they go belly up in 1/2008?

I said supposedly. The theory of the end of the calendar being the end of the world is LUDICROUS! But that is the theory.

Frankly,

I am amazed this world is running as smoothly as it is. About 2500 years ago, two BIG natons battled against one another. One gave up because the other played a RIDICULOUSLY SIMPLE trick on them. Had it failed, the other could have wiped them out. The nations themselves, in a way, shrunk quite a bit. One is now pretty tiny, but defended by much of the planet. The OTHER is now controlled by a religion with some militants, and spread all over, and numbering over a billion. Though TINY, that nation is trying to get the tiniest of buttons that could wipe out the PLANET. Many believe that goal may happen within only a few years. They ALSO have an enemy that they have all but SWORN to obliterate. And this time they won't have to spend months on the ocean or be thwarted by gilligan island style subterfuge. They also have some BIG allies numbering over a billion. So that is over 1/3rd the world's population.

Denns? Who's HE? All I said was RIGHT! The Persian Empire went up against greece, around 490BC. Greece just BARELY won! After that, the persians tried to attack from the other side, but the greeks made it look like they were ready, and the persians turned. Around 1979AD, iran(part of the capital of persia) came under muslim rule. The rest is pretty much current events!

I saw a show on Foxtel recently about people who were preparing for a disaster in 2012. I was laughing so much, some of these people were totally nuts. One lady had food delivered to her house every night, and it was all in air tight containers. Her goal was to save one year worth of food for the entire family. She also trained her family to defend themselves with guns (in case there is anarchy and crime). It would be hilarious if the world actually ended and those weirdos were right haha
