Apparently, today, hallmark is having a parent trap day. NOW, they are showing the original with "hayley mills". Interesting, she has some current work, and I always liked her. It seems like her image has ALWAYS been clean.

Later, as I understand it, they will have the redo with Lindsay Lohan. She did fine then, but NOW? YIKES!

You know, in the hayley mills version they ALREADY have enough evidence to convict them as monozygotic twins in ANY lands court of law! They have ONE parent of opposite sex! They look /sound IDENTICAL! They are at the same camp. They are the SAME age! That is ENOUGH! But to be born on the same DAY!?!?!? Yet the story line had them still in doubt!

    I love the original Parent Trap movie so much so that I had no desire to watch the second.

    As a matter of fact, whenever I'm in the mood to have a lazy feel good movie day, Parent Trap is always in the list right along with Shirley Temple's Heidi and Reese Witherspoon's Sweet Home Alabama.

    There are others, but those three are always included.

    The second one has only minor differences really. You didn't miss much. But it may be lindsays best film.
