I didn't see an intro thread, so just wanted to say I've been a long time lurker here, but just recently signed up for an account last week to more actively participate in the community. This seems like a really strong marketing forum so I look forward to sharing and learning.

I've been a self employed designer/marketer for almost 5 years now. I guess you could say that's my area of expertise haha. I look forward to getting to know some of you better and contribute to the forums, and maybe even eventually getting some new clients here.

Welcome! You can find everything you need to know here.
My advice (if I can offer that), would be to make sure you pick a business model to use i.e. Amazon marketing, Clickbank, your own product etc, and then work out how you are going to drive traffic to that model (PPC, SEO, Article marketing etc).

If you can focus on that you will be leaps ahead of the average newbie.
