Starting to get on my nerves too. I think we should give him the opportunity to tell us the answers (if there are any) just in case, then do exactly what you said Steven.

Actually - I think it's an English as a second language question. What might make sense from another language's perspective of the word "house" isn't making it in English.

Frankly - I decided not to feed that troll a long time ago. It might even be a joke for the guy to watch people burn their brains trying for a stinking 50 bucks. The way he keeps raising it a buck sure makes it look like he's having fun with that factor. I used to go in to see if he actually is building up a post count on the forum.

Whatever. I don't care who posts in there and I don't care if he's "stopped" or not. I didn't care two whits about it, so just left it alone. Seems to me just as silly to post threads about "stopping" that thread. Just stop posting and reading if it upsets you Steve. Not sure why we need to make a class action suit out of it for cripes sakes. I

Since it was in the off topic forum and was extremely off topic, I thought it was all in good fun.

It's not like he's clogging up the main forum with the mindless dribble. At least it was more interesting than the stock standard zero post questions such as "How do I make money online?" or "Which is better godaddy or hostgator?" .

I got the impression he/she/it got those questions from some course he/she/it was doing in metaphysics or mumbo-jumbo or something else, and he/she/it was hoping we'd come up with the answer(s) for him/her/it.

Yeah, that's a possibility . . . I thought maybe there was a contest somewhere and s/he was fishing for the answer. This isn't the only site s/he has posted this, so s/he is fishing in more than one watering hole for the answer. I'm guessing no one gets paid unless s/he sends an accomplice around to make it look like someone got paid.

No, many people do not want to figure it out. The majority of those responding here are not interested at all in figuring it out or your paltry reward.

My hope has been that the mods would come delete your threads and ban you. I actually looked up all your posts since you joined the forum and in one you were actually pimping out for a friend of yours (or it may be for you,just claiming it was a friend). I reported that post as SPAM Advertising in the hopes that it would get your account N/Aed. I still hope a mod will come take care of it.

There's no answer. Nothing anyone says will be good enough. The question, as HeySal stated in the thread, is a koan ( K ). Just like a law school professor, s/he'll just keep changing the question with the same rambling nonsense.

When someone's playing a game you can't win, you change the game. That's exactly what's happening here.

You have a valid point, though. It would be tiresome if you were treating the thread at face value.

I've totally avoided those threads - except to read and laugh at the responses - until he misquoted Elvis. We can't have that stuff going on here.

I think it's hilarious to read the responses - and realize the only person not getting the jokes is the OP.
