Panda Has Definitely Affected My Sites

There has definitely been a major shift on how my sites are performing since the implementation new Google Panda algorithms. Some perform better, some worse. Most worse... Why are they calling it, "Panda," anyway? Pandas are cute animals that live in China and eat bamboo.

    Google Panda is just a codename they are using for the project associated with the algorithm changes they are implementing. The name was decided based off the last name of one of the engineers at Google. It is speculated that the engineer this is named after was Navneet Panda.

    I just checked my rankings for 25 keywords I've been tracking for a while. Overall I stayed about the same. Lost a couple places here, gained a couple places there. Overall I probably gained some. Now, that's for the last couple months. I've gained (improved rankings) overall since Panda began.
