Wow, Yogi done some damage! Just think how mad he'd have been if that air bag would have went off in his face.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Ha Ha can you imagine sitting on the back seat telling him to calm down? apparently the engineers said that the air bags and the flashing cables going off as he chewed and clawed his escape root would have made him go absolutely berserk!

      Maybe it did. :p

The fact that it took a dump in the car tells me it really was frightened to death. Creatures (including humans) "unload" when faced with a run-for-your-life situation.

Actually, it may have just had to go. Cars are NOT made to hold wild creatures over say 150 pounds, and that bear may have weighed 3 times that. He or she could likely have shredded the outside with one swipe.

I would love to know the truth...could you do an experiment for us Sal, as you have access to the THREE BEARS? Leave your car with doors open put some bait on the front seat. ( you could claim off your insurance later) LOL

He should have been a dignified bear and left his signature in the car trunk ( boot)

A grizzly? 3 x 150 lbs? LMAO - a very YOUNG grizzly maybe. Those things stand around 10 feet on 2 legs - some even more.

OK, I DON'T know the growth rate of bears. They said they believe it was 3 years old. And I DO believe that females are a bit smaller than males.

I don't think anybody has wild creatures in mind when they design cars.

I'm surprised a grizzly could even get into the rig in the first place. Have you ever SEEN a grizzly?

not in the wild only in a zoo, I think they thought it was a juvenile bear.

The Grizzly opened the door? The wind blew it shut? Were there any witnesses? (No.)

Are you sure it wasn't actually a disgruntled former spouse? (The "big dump" in the back would lend some legitimacy to that possibility. lol)

They are a LOT easier, on average, to open from the outside. Outside, you have leverage, space, and probably the ability to actuate the lock, no matter how big you are. Inside, you have no real leverage, unless you are REALLY strong, and know where to hit, or can open the lock, have limited space(a grizzly probably has effectively zero space), and have to have relatively small hands to actuate the lock. Grizzlies probably couldn't do it. OH WELL!
