I worry about that every time I go to Florida.
Fl. sits on a big limestone aquifer. Over the years the orange growers have added their chemicals to it from ground water seepage. The chemicals from time to time eat away at the limestone causing sink holes to suddenly appear.
We get them on occasion where I live, but most of them are caused by debris decomposing underground.
The concern here is mudslides and falling rocks

      Naw, Man.

As a resident of east central florida, and a recovering engineering inspector,

I can tell you that the chances of you getting caught in a sinkhole are slim to none.

We have yet to have a Biker lost to a sinkhole.

Although the most active area for them is in Volusia County.

Have to be careful of those when you are hunting agates and fossils in the Badland areas in WY. There was also a threat when they brought gaming into Central City, CO. That whole town was built over mega mining tunnels and they had to shore up everything underground so the increase of traffic and people wouldn't cause cave-ins.

SO, You go and talk to the Native American tribe who built these casinos, and give them the above information, and they say.......

      "How?"
