The poor English language has suffered so much. Nowadays, especially with the advent of SMS services that allow people to communicate in the manner of retarded monkeys, it's spiraling further down at a faster pace than ever before.

My personal windmill at which to tilt is trying to make people care about how they are perceived through their written communication.

But nobody seems to care anymore.

  On the web it certainly is. Part of it is simply lack of proper education in the school system. Over the years, forums have certainly made me quite lazy concerning grammar, spelling, etc. I have forgotten no small amount, but I had grammar beat into me by Catholic nuns in school. I am quite thankful for that.
