Optical Illusion Thread

This one is all over the place and lots of you have seen it, but it still freaks me out. She spins both clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on how you see her.


I first saw a version of this in a long book that I pretended to understand as a teenager (but even now don't understand). Do you see an old woman or a young woman?

    For the first one I only see her spinning clockwise but for the second one I can see both the young woman looking away and the old woman. The young woman's chin is the old woman's nose.

    Edit: After looking at the spinning woman's shadow on the bottom and then looking back, I can see her spinning counter clockwise now.

    I can usually make the woman spin both ways - tonight I"m tired and ready for bed and can't do it. The pic I can see both women though. The dice -- I just don't get that one.
