Ever since I learned from Dennis Gaskill that Horace Bartholomew Schmidt's favorite color was plaid, I've been doing everything I can to duplicate that great Internet marketer's success. Seeing plaid everywhere is hard on the eyes. The plaid covering my desk is playing tricks with my vision, but it is all to acquire a weensy bit of HBS's success. It was hard to find plaid clothes for my toddler. Had to get his plaid cowboy hat custom made. Sure, this strategy doesn't always work. When I tried to dress up like a brain surgeon I respected, I still knew squat about brain surgery, but maybe if I'd used the same kind of pen and drank the same brand of tea, drove the same car...but I digress.
