Mr Technically Challenged Needs Some Help

Okay, here's what I want to do.

Normally, I'll create a squeeze page for Aweber and have it go directly to the page that tells them to make sure they white list my email and confirm theirs, blah, blah. EZ-PZ.

As an experiment, I want to have the squeeze page redirect them to an OTO page BEFORE it gets to the confirm your email page.

I know that in Aweber you can customize your confirmation page. But is this even allowed? If so, do I just replace their default confirm page with my OTO page and then at the bottom have a "No Thank You"?

If I do it that way, how do I then redirect them to a confirmation page?

Do I have to create my own and have the "No Thank You" take them to THAT page?

I'm thinking that's the way I have to do it but I just want to make sure before I go and do a whole lotta stuff that's going to turn out to be for nada.

Just a simple, "Yeah, that'll work" or "No, you can't do that" will suffice.

Thanks.

You want to send people directly to the OTO page after they click "submit"?

You can use a custom page:
How Can I Change My Thank You Page? :: AWeber Knowledge Base

If you put the OTO page there, either they purchase or they don't.

If they don't purchase, I guess you could just put a link to another page on your own server with the same "Please confirm"-message.

If they purchase, I guess you have several options. You could have system that auto-subscribes them to a buyer's list. If so, they would not need to confirm.

Or you could put the confirm-message on the download page for the product, "don't forget to confirm so you can get the 7 day course - It is a vital companion to what you just bought".

Side note: I haven't actually tried any of this, so don't get mad if it doesn't work
