I imagine this has been done before, but nothing showed up on search yadda yadda

What do you mainly use for your IM tasks?

I'm a computer user myself, much more relaxing to have a big screen infront of you.

    Mainly? Computer. Laptop I only use when I am outside of my own home, and I almost never leave my home. So ya, PC for me boss. But when I do use my Laptop, its business all the way. Computer I get distracted and play games and stuff.

    Desktop all the way! I really cant stand laptops..I dont know if its just me but the curser always moves somewhere else while I'm in the middle of typing lol.

    I do alot of graphic work and stuff and I just prefer a desktop.

    I go for Computer because it is good .I can simply say rough and tough but laptop are not for rough use.If you work on one place mostly then it is good to use computer then computer. laptop can be good for outside.

      Hi, I'm new here. Laptops are portable. That is about the only thing good about them. If you don't need portability buy a desktop. For the same money you will get a much more powerful computer with more disk space and memory.

    Me personally, I choose computer simply because with the whole stationary factor. I am able to focus and get more tasks done without disturbance, but with a laptop I have the urge to surf and get distracted from creating sites and other IM stuff. Therefore i'm more successful with a PC. But that's just me.

    I have plugged Desktop screen to my laptop.This solves the screen size as i work on
    graphs and charts,articles and games too. And when i have to travel i just take the laptop with me.
