What radio station do you listen to?

Do you prefer talk radio stations, or a certain genre of music that a radio station you listen to plays? Do you prefer local, commercial or national or doesn't it matter as long as it's good?

I chop and change a bit, don't like commercial stations that much that never seem to change the playlist like Heart.fm and prefer local which to me is in north Kent. Anyway I'm loving a certain localish FreshRadioUK.com | Dance Music Radio station at the moment and because it's available on the Internet is even better, although neighbours may disagree.

Force fm used to be a good one in Essex but seems to have disappeared now.

listen to pandora a lot, station depends on the situation. when working, lounge mode. when working out, beastie boys or led zeppelin. hanging outside on the deck on a nice summer day, creedence clearwater revival, doobie brothers, steve miller band, a few others. getting ready to go out on the weekend, house or bassnectar.

u get the idea. probably listen to lounge mode more than any other station though.

Planet rock is my number one choice but I also like the plays on radio 4 and a bit of classical too. Now and again I play around with the dial on the Internet radio and listen to a folk station.

Beastie Boys? Funny you should say that as I've been listening to their Licensed to ill album today. Funny how you can still know the lyrics to something you haven't heard in years like Paul Revere.

Me too. Perfect to listen to when I'm writing - no distracting voices or beats.
