I'm not even sure these respected and renowned singers with odd voices (loved by many here) even consistently sing in tune, lol.

    Maybe it's just me, but I always found Van Morrison's voice a little off.

    John Denver was known to sing out of tune at least as much as in tune.

    I love Joe...but when he tries to hit that high note at the end of "You are so Beautiful", it's like fingernails on a blackboard :rolleyes: You can feel the pain...

      Not exactly "rock 'n roll", but Tom Waits (before he lost his voice) has to have one of the "oddest" voices in the entire music industry...


      And these guys aren't far behind (love this song, lol)...


      And I would give "honorable mentions" to Sigur Ros, Devendra Banhart, Janis Joplin, Howlin' Wolf, Les Claypool (Primus), and Jeff Buckley. I'm sure I could think of many more, but these are just off the top of my head.
