Reincarnation Question

Well, I don't think hindus considered such a thing, but some non hindu occultists say they HAVE. Of course, this is all just senseless conjecture. HEY, ever see "men in black"?

There are different Reincarnation beliefs Throughout different religions to be honest with you.

I never seen that exactly said anywhere but it is possible. (As in I never seen it limited to only earthlings ... I myself do not believe in reincarnation..)

Thanks

Hi,

There are reported cases, by hypnotherapists and their clients, where the person accessed memories of being on a different planet living a life of something that is not human. I've read several of these cases in reincarnation books. As a side note, there are some people who had past life regressions where they were humans living during the time of dinosaurs.

It's up to you to decide, since there are all man-made beliefs passed throught the ages, same as all other beliefs, so really.. Yes, could be that aliens can be reincarnated into humans, everything is possible once you remove the need for evidence!

Sorry, I don't believe in reincarnation. As for books marketingva read that talk about being something other than human on other planets, I trust their books are selling well? It's just sci-fi in a neat package made to look like it could be real.

Past life regression? I put no stock in their either. It's on a par for me with what some medical personnel have done with getting children to say and demonstrate with dolls how they were molested when they were not.

I think the people who participate in past life regression really want to believe and are lead by some medical professional with questionable motives they want to achieve. Take dreaming, for example, if you can remember any of your dreams, they often contain some very creative circumstances totally out of the ordinary.

As for those medical professionals enabling this, it has to be much easier than actually inventing something of value and this type of work can get them noticed and possibly funding.

A woman I went to school with was once hypnotized as part of a university psychology experiment. Unexpectedly, she started talking in German, and they had to bring in a German professor to act as a translator. She told them that she was the wife of a banker and living in Nazi Germany. She also told them how she had died: A Nazi soldier told her to hand over her wedding ring, and when she turned and tried to run away he shot her in the back.

Later she heard the taped recording of her session and was so disturbed and upset that she refused to participate in any more hypnosis sessions. One of the things about this incident that really disturbed her is that she neither speaks nor understands German.

I can't speak for the books, but to beat a dead dog, I'd certainly question the logic of anyone who thinks we're the only planet that's holding life.

With that said, I do sometimes wonder if people are actually living (and thinking) rather than existing and plodding along in a state of total numbness...

I think that most religions mention only life on earth because when the philosophy developed, only earth was really considered a world - anything else in the "heavens" was considered territory of the gods, not of other physical beings. They could see stars, but to them they weren't worlds like ours with physical life. If the same religion were to develop today, I'm sure that the concept would be more universal.

The one thing that throws a loop for me is that we can record things. Matter, in various ways, records events. Waves and matter are interchangeable and continuously take on different forms. Either the human brain is distinct from other forms of matter and the rest of the universe or is isn't. If it isn't, the universe thinks.

Somewhat off topic, but not by much, why does the Miss Universe contest only have contestants from Earth?

Surely the contest should have voluptuous vixens from Venus, marvellous maidens from Mars, as well as gorgeous gals from Golgafrincham, shouldn't it?

Back on topic, you'd never guess that in a previous life I was actually intelligent would you?

I once asked a girl in high school that very question. She looked at me blankly and said, "You're nicer looking when you don't talk."

The answer to these questions really does get back to you and your values, what you are prepared to believe, to consider, to be open to.

Its also about your ability perhaps to suspend your disbelief - even temporarily, to at least entertain other ideas that might seem incredibly unrealistic to you...or those people who encourage you to think the way they think or want you to think.

This really is about personal experience when it gets down to it. Yes you can listen/heed/believe other peoples experience...but in the end it is their experience and not yours.

Theres information everywhere that will lead you closer to wherever it is you need to go.

Where do you find it or start the journey?

You first start with the intention to find or seek it out....or not.

The rest?

Thats up to you.

Amen to that - surely we aren't the best the universe can do

What I like most about reincarnation and other similar matters is that I don't know. I can't learn about the "truth" because no one else knows either. By the time I understand - it will be too late to tell others what is true.

In my opinion reincarnation is a soul trap to keep recycling you in this realm. In my opinion, when you die, you will get an opportunity to get out of this trap, but it will seem like the wrong choice at the time.

According to Edgar Cayce, the short answer is yes.
Although, it's been about 40 years since I studied his theories, I think his
perception was that we are decendants of aliens via Atlantis.

I reincarnate everyday as Dennis Gaskill. I used to expect to see someone else in the mirror once in a one while, but I've given up on that idea, at least until I get a new mirror.

Ah. So you need to be restrained in front of a full length mirror during some full moon so you can resume your periodic expectations?
