How do I donate?

I want to donate to a group that does not take donations.

any ideas on how to do that?

Just send a check with a small note?

I know if i got a check from a stranger a red flag would fly.

So from what i can tell this is a prideful group.
I am not even sure they will take a donation.

But i want to try any way, they struck a chord.

How do you suggest i go about it?

    Why would you go through all that trouble? If they don't want your donation, surely you could respect their wishes if you actually respected them as you purported.

      Forget the donation - send a note telling them they struck a chord and thanking them for making a difference for YOU.

      Tell them you didn't know if they accepted donations but did want them to know your thoughts. If they do take donations - you'll hear from them.

        That sounds pretty solid, I will do it this way and see what happens.

      They are too far away for anything physical, I should ask that in the letter.
      I planned on handwriting one and sending today, but each time i wrote
      it, it sounded horrible, and then i got too busy.

      Now i am glad that i did not send it.. I will add in your suggestion.
