Is playing video games results in mental retardness some told xbox live and other online games affect your mental health is it really true?

      Well it doesn't cause retardation. The effect on mental health comes from the disconnection people feel when they play games for 10 hours a day instead of communicating with people.

      I know from personal experience. A few years of heavy online game play or console game play. Mixed with isolation leads to extreme depression. Don't throw stones though your at risk too. If you run an internet business and limit your contact with other people to email and chatting on forums.
