Best Ways To Leverage Money?

I'm about to embark on my next project, and I'm looking for some good ways to leverage "other people's money", i.e. loans and lines of credit. I have a couple credit cards, whose balances I pay off each month. However, I'm looking for your opinions/ideas on other ways of obtaining financing. Feel free to chime in with whatever ideas you may have, as creative, or as simple, as they may be. I appreciate all responses. Thanks!
