You know...I don't give a rat's bladder which side you are on...this is getting out of hand - can we agree on that?

I'm afraid because of our completely irresponsible press, these types of shootings are going to actually "trend" for awhile. They need to stop giving the shooter's names and info at all. Keep them from being rewarded with any notoriety at all. Take people off the psychotropic drugs that state right ON THE LABEL that they may have homicidal tendency side effects (Hello - you can keep your guns but we're gonna put you on a drug that is going to make you prone to go out and start shooting any time you are agitated? Good plan.)

Also - if you've noticed, these crimes are becoming widespread since our gov has been talking about taking our guns from us (they admit to taking assault weapons, but if anyone cares to read our bills along with the UN doctrine - it won't be long before they want them all. Having a bunch of shootings to wire people up about firearms is a good way to get help in disarming us. If people fall for this crap, they have only themselves to blame for the tyranny set up to follow. Don't let fear make you stupid.

OK, for once, I DID have some thanks left! BTW there is a rumor going around that walmart is NOT reordering ammo, AT ALL!!!!!!! One conservative newsletter is saying that officials at walmart told THEM, that they ARE reordering ammo. Yesterday, I went to the local walmart, and the guy is DUMBFOUNDED! He said "SOMETHING is happening"(emphasis HIS), and said he has been out of stock for DAYS.

My HVAC guy this morning said HE can't find new ammo ANYWHERE! Well, I just tried to buy some ammo from what I believe is supposed to be the largest gun dealer in the state. I found a stack of about 10 boxes of 50 count 9mm ammo. It was the low power clean cut kind generally reserved for a firing range. Now that I think about it, he DID say he had some hollow point in the back, but I got there just before they closed, so I was in a hurry. I TRIED to buy 3 boxes, and he let me only buy ONE, because he is SO low!

SO, supply LOOKS like it has slowed down noticably, and demand has SKYROCKETED.

It makes you wonder what is up. I found out that the anecdote about my gun being illegal to buy/sell is not quite true. That law, prior to today, was only for CA and MA. NOW, they have an even MORE restrictive law for NY! YKW wanted to have the MA law(at LEAST the CA, but MA is a bit more restrictive). NOW, they might go with the NY law.

I just hope that the downfall of society doesn't get any worse. As I recall, MY generation is the first to be generally worse off than their parents. I may not have kids, but I don't want things to slide even further down hill. I see so many ways in which they have.

BTW there are at least plans to now charge a SIN TAX on "violent games". They are to be ones rated TEEN, MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY, and 1-3 other ratings I forget. In other words, some DECENT games may be lumped in. Still, all that will do is make people poorer and angrier. If they could easily stop, THEY WOULD HAVE. Games can waste a LOT of time.

BTW For clarification to all.... HVAC Means Heating Venting Air Conditioning. Somehow, we ended up talking about ALL sorts of things because my heater is on borrowed time, and his camera was charging. ANOTHER side note! For DECADES, I mean they have had them since long before I was born, they have used mercury in motion switches.... They are used to sense temperature in thermostats, tilting in pinball machines, motion in alarm systems, etc.... **********SURPRISE********** It is apparently NOW ILLEGAL! The HVAC guy says it has to be REPLACED! He ALSO mentioned that they have to dispose of it because it is hazardous!
