help , solve this simple mathematic

USD 150 000 , need to be divided to 7 childs, 3 male and 4 female,
every male will get 2/3 and female will get 1/3
so how much usd will everyone should receive?

a= 1/3 b= 2/3

the simple equation should be like this
3b + 4a = usd 150 000

    Every male will get two thirds of what? Sorry, Freddy, but the parameters of the question don't make a lot of sense, here.

    You can do it just as a little simultaneous equation: 3m + 4f = 150,000 and m = 2f. Then if each male gets 30,000 and each female gets 15,000, that adds up to the right total, clearly: (3 x 30,000) + (4 x 15,000) = 150,000. And each male is getting twice as much as each female.

    I don't know if that means each male gets "2/3" and each female gets "1/3", because I don't know what that part means, really? The males would each be getting "2/3 of 45,000" and the females would get "1/3 of 45,000".

    So, that does come to $150,000, as you can see, but it still doesn't make sense of it, really? I suspect there's a mistake in the wording of the puzzle, somewhere?

    Maybe fred wanted the 45,000 answer. When it comes down to it THAT was the only unknown. With the fact that the OP is from malaysia, and has so much bad grammar in the OP, it is clear that the person does not speak english as a native language.

    It could be:
    2/3 of 150,000 = 100,000
    1/3 = 50,000 _
    100,000 / 3 = 33,333.333
    50,000 / 4 = 12,500
    a = 12,500; b = 33,333.33
    This would mean 3b = 2/3 of 150,000 and 4a = 1/3 of 150,000.

    You only have one unknown and I'll call it "a"

    Each male gets (a) and each female (a/2)

    Therefore
    3 males receive a total of 3a
    4 females receive a total of 4(a/2) = 2a

    3a + 2a = 150,000
    a= 150,000/(3+2)

    a= 30,000

    Therefore each male receives a= 30,000 and each female a/2= 15,000
