What moment did you know you would be in this game 'IM' for long haul?

For me it started two years ago when I built my first website (two friends from college also wrote few articles). I think three of us were the only people reading it. Then two month into launching the site....

Bin Laden was killed and I wrote a tribute article to soldiers who took him down and my site was flooded with over 70,000 views in less than 12 hour period. It happened because I posted a link on a facebook football fan page. (here is original article for the curious: http://nfldraftrage.com/applauding-n...ama-bin-laden/

Thats when I discovered the power of creating a site. At that time, I didn't even know what SEO spelled. Even now I am just learning about advertising. Imagine people who actually know what they are doing who are poised to monetize 'viral' moments.

I am now moving onto ecommerce and who knows where this goes...but I am always curious how people got started....lets hear your moment that put you on this path.

Yep, for me it was more than 5 years ago, when after 4 years of trying to get ceramics going, and seeing the financial storm clouds on the horizon, l knew that l had to move into something more stable.

At least with IM, you can create a product that can be sold worldwide, has no inventory to deal with, and you can sell them when asleep!

Yep, l did the build a site gig, then after 2.5 years l started to realize, this might be a dead horse, and moved on to other things!

Right now after developing a successful piece of software, l only need to find a quality list, to hit the online jackpot!

Yep, its easy to make it online, just don't stop, trying!

PS l will dust off my Ceramic pieces again, when l have sorted the profits out, as well as a well earned holiday near a beach of course!!!!

I've only been here around 7 years. Not sure if I'll get hooked on it or not yet.
