Promoting my ebook

I've written Photoshop ebooks and I've put them on my site. One of them is free while the other one costs $5. The problem is, nobody seems to be interested. How do I get targeted quality traffic?

      I'm not sure what your experience level is in Photo Shop, but your website is sparse and comes across as an amateur. You offer no compelling reason for anyone to even get your free book when there are literally hundreds of thousands of similar tutorials all over the internet. Do a search. You need to offer something unique. Keep in mind, Photo Shop is a high end software, and giving away or even selling a $5 book on it is incongruous.

      Suggestion: Raise your price to $47 - $97 and offer an autoresponder course promoting your book. Submit tips to article directories with a link to subscribe to a course. This is a very lucrative market, and Photo Shop users spend a lot of money on courses and books. Also, if you really do have extensive experience in Photo Shop, you could earn a whole lot more money by offering your services in addition to selling your book.

          Quite the contrary. Conspiracy theorists are highly proficient marketers and very experienced in Photo Shop. Sorry if I implied any such incompetence to this group of fringe niche marketing professionals.

        Yeah, what Paul initially said above. I don't think I'd get very much good info about Photoshop in a $5 ebook...what would I get in a $5 ebook? But a $47 ebook? Now you're talking. It's a perceived value kind of thing, so don't be afraid to raise your price. You may be surprised at the response you get.
