Help and Genuine Advice Needed

Hi fellow warriors,

I am in the process of building a social networking site that is location based and I have been thinking hard about the content. I would like to seek your advice on it.

What types of content would be interesting to you folks and what would keep you coming back to a site again and again?

I will welcome any input that you would be kind enough to put forward to me.

    Politics
    sports. Local high schools.
    construction projects. pros and cons.
    entertainment. movies, concerts, etc.
    activities such as fishing & hunting.

    Look at some of the threads here in the OT.
    Check out Facebook and other social networking sites and see what they're doing.

    Think of different clubs.
    book clubs
    garden clubs

    Based on what I've been witnessing, lcombs gives excellent advice. Also, if you can, offer video sharing the way Youtube used to do before it mutated.
