Just discovered there is a hole in one of the knees of my pants. I wonder how long I was wearing them before this discovery. At least I wasn't giving a speech flying low.

Do you have moths? Always make sure you have moth balls in your cupboard or it can prove very expensive.

I think this would be regular wear and tear, some of it resulting from my toddler riding my back like a horse, ostrich, or elephant (whatever animal he's imagining me to be).

You may need to buy cheaper trousers if you are going to put them through the ringer like that.

Yes, for sure. It is amazing how many clothes and shoes his wee 2-year-old body wears through with his boisterous play.

At least the rip was in a location that's not embarrassing. You could have had one somewhere that wouldn't be so innocuous and run around town with it for awhile.

My weight hasn't changed more than 10 lbs since high school - goes up and down a little bit, but I've basically been able to wear my high xchool clothes all my life...........except..........the cloth gets old. I had on one of my favorite corduroy skirts once and the material gave out and ripped along the seem all the way up the skirt in back. Of course, it happened when I was not in a convenient or private location. I have one skirt left from back then and I love it, but don't wear it unless I have something I can put on that will cover a rip if it decides to fall apart somewhere.

    Seriously?
A hole in the knee of your jeans is a problem?
Back in the day a hole in your jeans was accepted as a part being anti-establishment.
I laughed out loud the day I saw used, hole-in-the-knees jeans advertised in Playboy as a new fashion trend selling for $25 in the mid '70s. At the time you could get a brand new pair of Levis for $10.

Funny how anti-establishment folks are almost always dressed in whatever is the current anti-establishment fashion ensemble.

"Back in the day?" Serious? I have some killer hot jeans with both knees out. Don't wear em in winter, though. I didn't know that ripped jeans ever went out of style. Nobody out here knows it, either, from what I can tell.
