      That kind of sucking can pay-off but it is a longshot. It involves fairly long-term thinking and having to withstand short-term fallout (no puns intended):
      Monica Lewinsky: "her low-key life may not last much longer amid reports she is planning to pen an intimate, tell-all book about her affair with President Clinton that will plunge her right back into the spotlight."

      (Still, despite the offers, she apparently opted not to write the book.)

            On come on T-Bird, "that" particular kind of stupidity? She was 19 and gullible and the party of the second part was quite old enough to know better. She still has a lot of life to live without this as a permanent black cloud drenching her wherever she goes. Sometimes these things need to fade into the murky past so she can get on with her life.

            I know about a lot of stupid people that did horribly stupid things. Whether or not they would take $12 million to bring the error of their ways to the entire world or not, I have no idea. Money ain't everything to everyone.

              There's a key difference here: the entire world already knows about it. The intimate details aren't going to change the greater story.

              I haven't kept up ol' Blue Dress, so I don't know if the ordeal has caused her financial difficulty or not, but if it has, she might at well make some money.

        Got one of those around 5 or 6 years ago...and we really like it. The filter is washable and no bags to buy. Works for us and does a good job.

        Now if some company would only figure out how to make sweepers quiet like those German motorcycles, that would be a huge improvement. Oh, and quieter lawnmowers, too, would be really nice.

        My first thought when I saw the title was that someone did something wrong, fell into a bucket of crap and came out smelling like a rose...however, I can see the obvious point in some of the other posts
