Glenn Beck About to Take Down the Whole Power Structure

Glenn Beck, not known for his subtlety or even his sanity, claims that he will reveal information within the next 24 hours that will "take down the whole power structure." Supposedly a new and even more dramatic whistleblower is about to come forward.

I've never been a fan of his, but I think the whole system is overdue for an overhaul. I don't care if Beck, Michael Moore, Alex Jones, Anonymous or Charlie Sheen is the one to light the fuse

Pretty big claims he's making. Last time he promised something like this it was a fart in a hurricane. I wish it was Charlie Sheen breaking the story. He'd do it with some style.

I was going to say something about Charlie but it would be about coke, alcohol and women...

If it's the same Glen Beck - he used to be a very well known musician. Either this is a different guy or he reallly veered his career very strongly.

I've seen some stuff he's said before, and some of it was pretty trashy, and some of it was right on target. I don't follow him though. I do want to see what this is about. It better be damned good or it's the last attention he gets from me.

You're thinking of Jeff Beck a radical guitar player that almost defies description or another dude that just goes by the name, Beck.

I Absolutely Cannot Believe That Glenn Beck Failed To Deliver On His Promise To Bring Down The Power Structure Of The Government.

              I Absolutely Cannot Believe It.

I'm staying up all night and keeping the TV on for national news. I know it's coming. Glenn Beck would never make a promise and not deliver.

Maybe we just don't believe hard enough. Come on guys! Believe with me.

Believe in Glenn Beck. Believe in Yourself.

Well, the law basically DEMANDS that a LOT of people be LOCKED UP, and WORSE! One wonders why it hasn't happened YET, but the number is increasing. Even TODAY, it increased. I hope they finally start locking them up. Maybe THEN the government can get some sanity back.

It's definitely half past high time to go Iceland on them. I also saw that little preview by Beck. I don't really "follow" anyone, but read what's up and then just do my own digging into what interests me the most. This one has me wondering what it will be, though. At this point it's hard to tell. We've seen what whistleblowers are bringing to light lately and it seems that the more people that get the courage to come forth, the more that are doing so.

Whatever it is.........Beck better hope it's as earth shattering as he says it will be, because his rep is going to be toast if it isn't. Americans are sick of BS. A lot of people like to kill the messenger but I've seen a lot of the "conspiracy" crowd being totally exonerated with some of the recent developments coming down now. It's about time that people understood that screaming tinfoil isn't much of an answer - it just allows them to avoid finding out what's true and what isn't. Many "conspiracy" sites have a better track record for truth than our MSM does, yet people still spit about anything and everything they say.

Well, I guess we just sleep on it and find out tomorrow. I've always hated cliff hangers.

Well, I SAW what glenn beck said earlier. He DID couch it, so WHO KNOWS if he backed down. Maybe it was delayed, and THIS is it. He kind of couched THIS also. But I HOPE it happens tomorrow. If it doesn't, and he goes under, don't think for a MOMENT that that means he was wrong or that it will never occur.

Heysal, a lot of people are SCARED now! This is not the kind of cower in a corner, waiting punishment, kind of scared, but rather the time for desperate and vicious attack, fight for your life, type of scared. As things get worse, and more blatant, more will come out, etc... at the apex, it could be a revolution.

It HAS happened before in this very country and for this very reason, and under these exact circumstances.

Yes, I remember him promising some huge revelations before and nothing came of it. Too many false alarms just make people more cynical. I'm open to the possibility that he's uncovered something, though. If it's worth knowing about, it really doesn't matter who reveals it.

He makes these claims every week.

However, I heard this whistleblower has emails about Justice Roberts and his Obamacare decision.

    We will see.

I ****NEVER**** heard him make these claims outside of the last 2. OH, he made claims about 9/12, and the operation blessing type charity he was going to run, and the marketplace, and creating his own media empire of a sort, but THOSE all came to pass.

BTW the very fact that you saw those clips, and that we are talking about him proves the first detractors about these claims WRONG. THEY said he would be gone.

      I have two predictions;

      1) Tomorrow nothing earth shaking will come from Glenn Beck.
      2) It won't make any difference. His fan base will completely ignore it.

I know a few people that think of his rants as "News".
And they still will tomorrow. Human nature is fun to watch.

Larry; Being rational isn't the safe view. Being rational publicly is risky.
Most people are highly irrational, but they are irrational in the same way.
And going against that flow can anger people.

Standing out by challenging beliefs is not how to win friends and influence people.

As a marketer, I'm actually a Glenn Beck fan. Creating controversy, picking a powerful enemy, making predictions...are all marketing ideas.

I often wonder how many of these "pundits" actually believe what they say.

I'm an atheist. But I watch televangelists, because a few of them are brilliant marketers. And Joel Osteen can sell.

Yep, fear plays a large part in whether a tinfoil hat is put on or thrown away, or at least put in a Hobard.

No one understands how the universe really works, and as such, fantastic ideas, can sometimes be real.

It's the good old, tale about a caveman that finds an astranaut from our time, with a LCD tv.

Magic and fantastic to him, nothing to us!

But apply something a good thousand or more years ahead of us doing something similar, and the tinfoil hats come out. Although solid research and putting the hat away, or shelving our current beliefs, until data supports it, is a wiser choice.

I suppose that the Socialpaths have done such a good job scaring the population with their crap, that most would rather hold on to their T-hats like their life depended on it, than, put fear aside and look into it farther?

Julia is preparing something like this as well with close to a million documents, etc for a lenghy court case. But it never seems to happen?

            Hope the socialpaths aren't winning?

            Have to wait and see.

True that society seems to be in a contest with itself, to see how f***up it can get, so something positive has to happen sometime!!!

Yeah, if p>> r>>>>>>> didn't stress the "miracles"(non believers wouldn't be helped and much of it is oversimplified dreck), and open prayer(the Bible says NOT to do it), and the donations(Come on)! He would be a nice guy.

Frankly - it can't be TOO earth shaking or he'd not say a word until the whistle blower was right there and talking. Our gov is going after whistle blowers with a vengence I've not seen since the KGB was the tough guy on the block (that we know of). Right now Admin is even threatening to jail the journalists who aired Snowden's revelation. The news - threatened for telling the truth.

Seems to me that anyone with anything absolutely regime toppling would keep dead quiet beforehand and just make a video for release at XX time to make sure they make it somewhere safe before the dogs are called out on them.

Didn't you hear him? And it is perfectly logical! If the guy showed up THERE, he would fear for his life. There HAVE been a number of people that apparently were going to say something and suddenly died. Sometimes it was supposedly a sudden death of natural causes. Sometimes it was a supposed suicide. Sometimes it was a struggle that DECADES later is only a memory, apparently NEVER investigated. Were they coincidences? MAYBE! But it is odd! Some had IMPECCABLE timing!

Who knows....Maybe beck saying THIS much stopped it.

You can't film it, or een use the internet, because it could be left in doubt, be used for propaganda, etc... They can cut the feed, etc... Then again, one wonders HOW you could do this. They COULD conceivably give him a huge criminal record, delay and/or deny the day in front of congress, etc... The NET may have been a full fabrication, but stuff like that happens ALL THE TIME to some degree. There wasn't ONE thing that couldn't be happening RIGHT NOW!

And you can say what you want about BECKS supporters, but there are supporters of others that are FAR more naive. Charlie rangle said that he didn't like this part of the patroit act BUT, in the current case, it is OK with him. That is NOT how it is supposed to work! Congress is supposed to write laws in such a way that they can't be so improperly used. That is why some people always vote a split ticket, so the government will always keep that in mind.

cmon man. I cannot believe a man as talented as yourself make an ignorant statement like that.

I am going to attribute as your having a bad day and we all have them my friend.

            . lets be honest here

opportunities and great times are everywhere.

where else in the history of man can ONE individual learn anything he wants from the comfort of his own home.

I have self taught everything I know now

I have developed skill sets that make me money using various monetization methods

            adsense

            affiliate commissions

            video marketing

ppc marketings and all the others.. cpa, ppv, etc

            kindle publishing

            even offline marketing

I can live anywhere I choose to live as long as I have a good internet connection.

I speak to business clients in New York and Miami and other parts of the country using skype.. and I never miss a beat.

technology has allowed some amazing opportunities

            but then again

you have to get off your comfort zone and actually do something

you have to get rid of limiting mind sets.. that is true

but you cannot say we live in incredible times!!!

I just got 2 separate adsense checks physically mailed to me in costa rica by the big G

one was $1422 and the other was $773

            not alot

but every little bit helps and I take these checks and deposit them in my account

the other adsense checks are eft in the states

I could go on and on but you get the point

Travelinguy, what is stranger then that is we still have Loyalist here.
Look at how many people insist that the current administration has done no wrong or that what they are doing are non-issues or my personal favorite "But the other side did it to" like that makes it alright. But yet if the other party was in charge and doing the exact things this admin. has been accused of they would be screaming for their impeachment and claiming they where destroying America.
Reality is Loyalist on both sides of the isle could care less about this country as long as their party is in charge and installing their agenda.

With a comment like that I can only conclude that you didn't think that through before you typed it.

It IS significant if its true. Any instance of anyone threatening anyone else in Government is a monumentally big deal.

You are literally saying that, in the future, if some president, or any official for that matter, puts forth a bill that says...oh I don't know...pick your poisons...maybe that a person can serve three terms as president...so it goes to the supreme court...judges life gets threatened...and badabing...court rules it constitutional.

It could go on and on with any number of things...and your saying "well whatever, its perfectly acceptable"

At the same time...how do we know for sure that this threatening process hasn't been a normal operation in the branches of Government for years already?...people getting threatened, or bribed if they don't vote a certain way on a bill. How many harmful things have we seen...NAFTA, No Child Left Behind, Patriot Act. Who knows what else.

...and you are saying "meh, big deal"

Holy mother of guacamole are you insane man?

      Thanks for the update Sal.

I don't believe it. I mean I don't believe it's true. So much of this stuff is circulated and some people want it to be true. President Obama is many things...stupid isn't one of them.

And that would be monumentally stupid.

I noticed that there was only one person questioning if the claim was true. That scares me a little.

Beck is getting no traction with this...because there is no evidence. Believe me, if there was anything to this...in a day or so it will be all over the news.

Glenn "P.T. Barnum" Beck farts out a rumor...and we start taking sides?
What about Thinking? What about waiting for proof?

There is a reason Beck's claims get no traction. It's the same reason Professional Wrestling isn't an Olympic sport.

Making judgments based on baseless claims is what causes a lot of the divide in this country (and every country). Wouldn't it be better to know something before getting all upset?

Beck is a showman, and he's good at it. But he belches out some rumor ...and we jump all over it.

Anyone can make up and lob irresponsible, heinous, ridiculous and unsubstantiated charges and that is often the case - up in here and many places around the net but...

... is there anything near a shred of proof, a smoking gun perhaps of that particular charge?

Some folks are quite angry at the courts decision regarding Ocare and stuff like Sal's charge are to be expected.

Sadly, there is a very large and willing audience receptive to crap like that around the net as evidenced by the absolute ridiculousness and staying power of the Birther Movement.

I understand what you are saying and was just playing the devil's advocate here.

I guess my point is, well, it is obvious that you don't believe what Sal posted (and by the way, she was just relaying what she found, not actually the originator of it) and jumped on it without having irrefutable evidence that she is wrong. She never claimed to have irrefutable information that it was true. By addressing her post you just brought more attention to it.

I do hope you know that there are things that go on behind closed doors all of the time that aren't completely upright and honest or even lawful. To believe differently would be extremely naive.

Please don't think I just said I think who you support is another Jim Jones as I am not saying that all. Some people could jump to that conclusion and that is what happens when one leads with their emotions before they let their brain power kick in.

To think that a president or stooges in his administration wouldn't use certain powers within his reach to "influence" or push his agenda is naive. Nixon did it and got caught. Every one of them has done it.

I have no way of knowing, none. Again, my point is that stuff like that is far more common than us regular folk could ever imagine.

History is loaded with great examples. We got into WWI because JP Morgan senior was the exclusive broker for French and British war bonds and Germany was winning the war with their U-boats. Had they won the American economy and Morgan himself would have almost literally been wiped out.

So Morgan lobbied Woodrow Wilson with that appeal and a convenient little bit of American history known as the sinking of the Lusitania occurred. The Lusitania was a cargo ship carrying stuff for the war effort against Germany. It also had berthing for 50 passengers, American passengers. A U-boat sunk the ship with 50 Americans passengers on board.

We weren't at war with Germany, we were neutral. Before it sailed the German embassy in the US published notices in all the major newspapers at the time warning Americans to stay off that ship but our government countered those warnings saying it was safe. Why? They needed a reason to go to war with Germany. Why? I've already covered that.

History is full of stuff like this. So is the present administration guilty of bullying a judge? I have no idea but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

First off - That's what I heard. I will try to find it again. I didn't say it's true or that it was correct. I was reporting back to a thread about this issue what I saw. Seemed that it might be right since Beck said it would be monumental.

Let me go see if I can find it again. It was on FB so we all know it has to be true

Okay - I'm back with the link. Seems that what I saw is a guess at what the news was/is and nobody still knows for sure. Anyhow - I couldn't find what I read on FB but this is probably where it came from.
        http://12160.info/page/rumor-glenn-b...msg_share_page

Guess we're still guessing. Sorry. Kinda - I hope this isn't what it is, but it would explain so much. There are some reasons I figured this was the right one when I saw it.

So back to the OP -- seems Mr. Beck has us cliff-hung. I so hate cliff hangers. Spit it out, dude.

TL - I'm not going to give my view of what you think of yourself, but I can guarantee that it is so far from the way you project yourself that you seem quite delusional. All it takes to get you to throw mud at anyone and everyone in your path is for them to disagree with you.

In my mind there is no debate. They've done it.

So...at what point do we as a society quit just accepting it "oh well, I know somewhere in there, that some shinnanigans are going on, and somewhere in what the Government tells me is some random amount of lying...(Yawn)....oh well"

At some point here we have to stop and actually address it, and look closely...OK...which things are the lies and which is the truth....and is there something we can do to make it harder for a corrupt power system to manipulate us unfairly.

Look at what Nixon got caught doing and the results.
He at least had the decency to 'man up' and resign.
Look at everything this admin. has done and is doing.
World of difference and different results.

If what Beck says is true (a big IF when Beck is concerned), it may, or may not, bring down the incumbent president. It may also "bring down" a few other people, but to claim it will bring "down the whole power structure" is hyperbole on steroids.

The whole power structure will outlast Obama, Beck and all of us ultimately. It has been around for centuries and ain't going anywhere in a hurry.

It depends on what you mean by "power structure". In the way YOU mean it, it has ALWAYS been impossible, never been done, etc.... Now to take down the CURRENT people/agencies and the NEW things laid out? It is a deck of cards built on a shaky foundation. If the right piece is pulled, the whole thing will come crashing down.

I wouldn't be so sure of this. Btw, I don't see Beck as anything more than a very minor player in all this, at most. But there are signs that people are waking up and ready to challenge the world as it has been for many centuries. As the reigning institutions lose more and more credibility, there will eventually be a tipping point where there is no longer anything to hold them up.

...said the person with an agenda

The saying is supposed to be an anecdote about the political nature these days. Obviously there are differences in philosophy, et. al. - but at the end of the day they are of the same animal pushing their own agendas, which tends to lean more towards what the party wants vs. what is right or logical.

I only stand out only because I'm one of the very few in here willing to challenge what IMHO are a kaleidoscope of dangerous memes and attitudes based on falsehoods that are all to common up in here.

If it gets on some people's nerves and if they want to frame it as me being some type of blind follower - and they get 20 thanks, there's nothing I can do about it.

I only said what I said because you seem to have self-appointed yourself as some certain person's watchdog, like you have been hired to do reputation damage control or something equivalent.

Let me ask you this...If you had supported the other guy, would you be, and I quote "watching" and posting the same things as you are now to the same stuff you are "watching" against?

On another note, I can't help notice your use of the phrase "up in here". I have to say that really reminds me of the chorus of this song. It fits what you're doing and saying to a "T".

All taxes are is paying the government for their permission to earn something or buy something. As long as you pay their permission fees you're fine. Don't pay and they take what you have.

I agree 100%. I was pointing out to TL that we all have agendas - but that doesn't mean all agendas are simply self-serving. Maybe in Government they are, but most people I personally know feel much the same as you do.

Most of us here on this board just want to get along and have a good discussion. A few feel it's more important to be right at any cost. I used to feel that way, but I found that life is too short. After all, this IS just some marketing board on the internet. At the end of the day, it's not all that important (for my life, anyway).

Yeah, when I really learned to "agree to disagree" is when I grew up the most. When I was young I always felt I had to be right, even if I suspected I was wrong :p

"Let's agree to disagree" are the 4 strongest words I learned over the past 15 - 20 years. It's a shame everyone hasn't learned this (not swiping at anyone in particular...). Having strong opinions is fine. Outright dismissal of anyone else's opinions is just narrow-minded.

                    Oh that's just silly.

As long as there are no real facts to support either side conclusively, everything we say is conjecture anyhow. Once proven, a proposition becomes fact and is not subject to any opinion other than if you like the fact or not - maybe a little more thinking about how to change the fact if you don't like it. Sometimes you can do that.

I get pretty hot on politics. I have an education in politics and also have had a lot of social contact with people who understand or are in politics so I know how some of those people think. It makes me mistrustful of anything that goes on if I can't see the whole process. If you've ever been in earshot of a few reps at a party talking about their constituents, you get a good earful of the depth of the lack of respect some of them have for us. So people get the idea that I hate all politicians. Yet - when they do something I appreciate, I am the first to send them a word of thanks.

What scares me more than any politician is the cult mentality of a loyalist. Politicians in themselves don't have any power until they have a very strong following. When the following acts like a cult they become frightening to me. When their "cult leader" does something very nasty and they continue to support that act just because of who made the action - that is what escorts fascism in the door.

If people would just take each action of each politician and either thank them or ask them "WTF are you thinking?", we'd have both an undivided country and a lot more honesty in our leaders.

Whether you like him or loathe, Beck knows how to build intrigue.

Personally, I don't believe much of what I hear from Beck, or Cooper, or any other big media mouthpieces. I think it's foolish to take them at their word. That's how you get hoodwinked.

By the way, it's starting to smell political in here. Might want to back off a little before the thread gets deleted or locked, folks.

The closest I've ever come to listening to any of them was when I still had cable and watched the Daily Show
I do follow Alex Jones on FB but I don't always agree with him or do I bother to go to his website or listen to his radio show. Actually I cringe a little when I do agree with him. Some things like gmo's he is spot on, other things:rolleyes:

That's just it, Thom. They all get some things right. Enough to keep a following. And they all spin the truth (or just outright lie) enough to promote their hidden or not-so-hidden agenda, that it's not prudent to drink their Kool-Aid with a great deal of skepticism.

That's why I don't pay that much attention to any of them. Like I said I follow Jones on FB. Do I start each day looking for what he has to say? No.
I'm not even sure why I follow him there. Unless the pic accompanying his post catches my eye I just skip over his posts looking for ones by my friends or the "important" groups I follow like Blues Advocates, Ginger Baker Fan Club, Drummers Database, Savoy Brown, Vater Sticks, you know important stuff.

Like Sal said, he gets some stuff right, and you aren't likely to hear it anywhere else, at least not for a while, so that's my best guess as to why. I don't follow anyone, but when something catches my eye (or ear) I'll check it out. I take in enough media sources that there always seems to be something begging for my attention. Just you guys in the OT are sufficient for that.

Yep, l am half way through Henry Fords biography, and so l know some of the things politicians get up to. No reason why it wouldn't continue to this day!

Ok, won't use the P word anymore!

I don't really "follow" anyone. I'm a browser. I see what is being said and if it piques my interest I'll do some digging.

I will admit that Beck piqued my interest. In the middle of a flood of scandals, it didn't seem like such an off the wall statement. One thing about building intrigue though - is that you need to follow it up well or people feel let down. Would I follow Jones? Sure. He gets a lot right, but really gets to be a drama queen about EVERYTHING. Would I follow Beck? Not if he doesn't come up with something REAL strong real fast. If I wanted to listen to complete crap, I could listen to our politicians.
Yep, totally agree Sal, when getting into certain subjects, some get scared and make brass statements about what is definitely true and what isn't.

Eventhough their research and especially experience is flimsy at best.

Best to prove something is true by showing available evidence or compelling evidence to that statement.

As since no one knows how the universe ticks, discretion is better than brashness!

Someone with an open mind will see a UFO over the white house, and someone with a closed mind will see a metallic disk only, or dismiss it as model or full of helium or they are delusional or try to forget about it asap!

Well I got curious and went to Beck's website. He's now claiming his vocal chords are temporarily paralyzed and had this drippy drooly little video where he was using flashcards (doesn't the guy know how to write an article?) about how we have to love each other and we can save America if we do ----- so....................
I think that we're not going to get the "earthshattering news we were supposed to get.

You can bet your bottom Beck he'll never say another word that I'm going to be reading/listening to. I feel this is all a publicity stunt and it's way over the top. Ticks me off, too. We don't need this kind of crap right now. At all.

I saw the flash card video too. I'm not sure about the timing, though. I think that may have been before the big announcement videos. I still think he is basically sincere but not very balanced mentally. He is prone to bouts of self-righteousness coupled with self pity. He has traits common to substance abusers, which is in his background --angry outbursts followed by tearful remorse (not to malign people who may have problems with addiction).

This doesn't necessarily mean some whistleblower isn't going to confide in him. It's not looking too promising so far, but we'll have to see.

The only thing I know about Glenn Beck is that he is a household name...

In my mother-in-law's house that is.

She seriously tries to get hubby and I to follow him but when she rambles on about him, I just sort of tune her out. She went to the extent of buying hubby a hardcover book about him but I can't even tell you the title of it, lol! She's also brought over magazine articles about him but I'm pretty sure those got tossed.

Hey, whatever happened to TL? I wonder if we were too hard on him and he left with hurt feelings or if he suffers from allodoxaphobia?

Anyway, TL, I apologize if I was a little too rough on you. I guess I was kind of on a roll yesterday in honing my sarcasm and debating skills.

I too was disappointed that Mr. Beck didn't come out with anything that would cinch up peoples tighty whiteys.

There are numerous things that we should be taking a look at. One such item is the Immigration reform act they are looking at this week that puts into place a national ID card. Yes, covered up in its many pages is the groundwork for a national ID card.

This is not speculation, theory or grandstanding but simply the truth. I don't grandstand, the only other guy under there is a named Seemore Butts.

We have an agenda being pushed to attempt to get us into Syria and that is NOT a good idea. Look at their REAL history. They are not a people to be trifled with. Palin actually made a good call when she said leave them alone and let Allah sort it out. If we go there we enter a war we cannot win.

One of the biggest problems in America is that we get our panties in a bunch over an issue and 10 days later we forget about it because the Simpsons season finale is on.

Don't apologize to TL, Terra. He trolls every political thread and can get pretty nasty himself. It's nice he left this one before he got it shut down. I'm enjoying the hell out of being about to talk about anything going on now without trolling going on.

I just looked him up on wiki and he is the same Beck that started Mercury music. Surprised. Wiki paints a pretty unbalanced picture of him - mentally. Go figure. LOL.

He started Mercury Radio Arts which is just a production company for mostly his own shows. He didn't start mercury Records or whatever else you are thinking of. :/

Yeah he'd have to be at least 90 now if he started Mercury Records when he was 20
I remember Mercury from when I was a kid. A lot of great Jazz came from that label as well as Mitch Miller

      I guess you're right Sal.

I'll just chalk him up as my latest victim to have been "Terra-ized".

          Thank you Claude.

Actually the term "Terra-ize" came about quite a few years back when I worked as an editor/proofreader. I could never just proofread and edit though. I had to change some things around and add in an analogy or a quip to my clients' work. Okay, I couldn't help myself from practically rewriting the whole piece because I just saw so many ways to make the content better or more interesting or compelling.

My clients coined that as having their articles "Terra-ized" and soon I even had other people contacting me and asking me how much I would charge to Terra-ize their articles.

But I thought it worked well in this situation too with a little different spin on the meaning.

          It was fun.

I saw a similar video that youtube says was downloaded a day earlier. THAT video couched more and said the deadline is likely TOMORROW. I guess we will see.

OH HEYSAL. I though you meant he PLAYED. YEP, Glenn Beck started a number of companies after he left fox. His media arm is named MERCURY! They do music, videos, and books. He apparently ALSO started a clothing company(Actually rebuilt it http://1791.shop.musictoday.com/ ), a marketing company(akin to amazon), and a news company.

Okay - thanks for clearing that up for me. I didn't know there was a difference. I just knew there was a Glenn Beck in music somewhere - I thought he might have been a rocker at one point in time so had to find out.

It doesn't look like Beck has delivered on his promise. Can't say I'm shocked. On the other hand, at least he has evolved to the point where he is speaking out against yet another U.S. fiasco in the Middle East. I remember listening to him about 10 years ago when he sounded more like a typical neo-con.
