What are these people thinking, Jessica Simpson naming her kid ACE? Gwyneth Paltrow naming her kids Moses and Apple? I am sure you can name more wierd celebrity names that are out there.

    Not a new phenomenon by any means, if you think of Zowie Bowie, Rolan Bolan and Moon Unit Zappa for example.

      The odd names are rather baffling. Bruce and Demi's daughters were named Rumor, Scout and Tahlula. There are many more children's names that brand them as one of a kind, but I just don't see that as any step up over and above more traditional names. I've not noticed any advantage for the children with unusual names.
