Ads skipper/hopper?

Well i read a thread not long back regarding the ethics behind skipping ads.

    I agree with the court ruling. I buy a TV or monitor with my money - I pay monthly for a subscription to programming I can watch on that device.

    I have the right to ignore some of the programming should I decide to - and that includes ads.

    Advertising has become so invasive we hardly notice it these days. I went into a public restroom recently, closed the door to the stall and was amazed to find an ad on the inside of the door. Talk about a captive audience!

    The right to display advertising does not include (to me) the right to force me to run that ad on my personal device. You control your ads - I control my eyes.

      Yup its common now.
      Every time i go to the mall's toilet, there is always some shopping discounts on the door and on the wall so either you stand or sit, which ever way you face, you will see one. haha

      But the most memorable poster i saw which has nothing to do with ads is this, it says "pls do not throw your cigarette butt in the cubicle since we do not pee in your ash tray! " hahahahha!!!!

      I just hate it when smokers smoke in the toilet, the smell of smoke and ammonia together is a bad combination. Besides its forbidden by law ! [my bad, off topic]
